Arlene M. Parra is a founding partner of Parra Klein and a personal injury trial attorney serving New Jersey and New York. She is a lifelong Bergen County resident and the daughter of Colombian and Ecuadorian immigrants, raised with grit, purpose and a commitment to serving her community.
As a founding partner, Arlene has helped build the record Parra Klein brings to every negotiation. In 2024 the firm obtained a $2.5M settlement for a client involved in a motor vehicle or truck accident who sustained spinal injuries. In 2025 Arlene resolved a rideshare crash case for $1 million. Liability was contested, and the client had no surgery. In another case, the firm recovered the full $500,000 insurance policy for a pedestrian who broke both forearms in a fall on an uneven sidewalk and needed emergency surgery. That claim was resolved without filing a lawsuit, about six months after the client hired the firm.
Arlene prepares every case as though a jury will decide it, and some cases go that far. In 2026 she and Brian tried a spinal fusion car crash case to a jury. Much of her work also happens at mediation, where a fully built case is what moves an insurer to pay what a claim is worth. She is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Before founding the firm, Arlene practiced at well-regarded firms in New York and New Jersey, including insurance defense work. Seeing how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims from the inside shapes how she builds cases for injured people today.
Arlene is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian and Portuguese, so many clients can talk through their case with her in the language they are most comfortable using.
